We heard good things about the Emeril by All-Clad E920SA64 Hard Anodized Nonstick with Pouring Spouts Scratch Resistant 10-Piece Cookware Set from a friend of mine who’d purchased it, so I decided to review it.

What is Hard-Anodized Cookware?

Hard-anodized coating is simply a reinforced aluminum that manufacturers use when making the pots and pans. It’s covered in a nonstick coating. The aluminum then becomes tougher than stainless steel. This is supposed to make it more durable so it will last for years. All-Clad is extremely confident about their product because this cookware set comes with a lifetime warranty. The All-Clad technology makes the pans heat up evenly and thoroughly every single time I cook, so I’m pleased.
The handles on the pots and pans are made to add balance to the design. The length of the handles is supposed to make them more comfortable to grip and move them around. They are also supposed to be covered in a stay cool technology that keeps them cold while you’re cooking so you don’t burn yourself.

In my opinion, some of the neatest features of this set are the built-in pour spouts and the straining lids for the stockpots. The pour spouts makes things so much cleaner for me when I’m transferring liquids from the pots to another bowl. You have a lot less splatter and more control over the liquid. The built-in straining lids are a dream for me, too. Not only do I have one less dish to wash, but with the lid already being on the pot, all I need to do is flip it over, and in the words of the Emeril “BAM,” I’m all done.

With this 10 piece set , you pretty much have all the basics that you could possibly need.
The nonstick coating works great for me. It makes cleaning up incredibly easy. Nothing sticks to the bottom of these pans. With the All-clad coating on the pans, they heat evenly, so you don’t get any hot spots on the bottom of your pans and the food will come out consistently well-cooked.

Bottom line is that the Emeril by All-Clad Hard Anodized Nonstick with Pouring Spouts Scratch Resistant 10-Piece Cookware Set not only looks great in the kitchen, but it works wonderfully as well. People are agreeing that it is a great quality cookware set for the price that you pay for it. The pour spouts and straining lids are being raved about. Others also agree that the nonstick layer is a good quality coating – after all, it’s All-Clad.

Some complaints that have been made about the set are that the pots and pans are a little smaller than some people would like. The stay cool handles don’t really stay cool. On the pans with the longer handles, they tend to stay cool only at the very end. So, you need to be careful while handling the pans during cooking.
