Food Network 11-PC Hard-Anodized Nonstick Cookware Set Review

FOOD NETWORK 11-PC HARD-ANODIZED NONSTICKI watch food network religiously. Most of what I know about cooking I learned it from the Food Network Channel. That’s why I am always excited when they come out with new products. Who wouldn’t want to use what the professionals use in their own kitchen? I could never count myself a chef, but I like to pretend I am, so I experiment with new foods and food combinations all the time. Of course, not everything comes out great, but it’s all a learning process right? When I was looking to replace my old pots and pans, I decided to look at the Food Network products first.

I found FOOD NETWORK 11-PC HARD-ANODIZED NONSTICK COOKWARE SET on Amazon.com and was super excited about the price. You always have a good chance to find products at a discounted price on the website. I have ordered so much from Amazon now that I have an upgraded membership and can get anything shipped totally free of charge.

Why I Like the Food Network 11-Pc Hard-Anodized Nonstick Cookware Set

This set is very professional looking. It’s the kind of style that you can use whether or not you really know what you’re doing in the kitchen – at least you will look good doing it! I always love to show off my cookware to people who come to my house for a nice meal. I am not too picky about anything else about a house, but when I was looking for a new place to live, I absolutely knew it had to have a great kitchen.
I know a little bit about food, but I knew next to nothing about how the material type and makeup of nonstick coating used on cookware really makes a difference. This set is a hard-anodized nonstick cookware set. I have learned that this means these pots and pans are made out of aluminum.

Aluminum is roughly two times more durable than stainless steel, so you can get quite a bit of use out of this set before you even have to think about replacing it. You also get the added benefit of no hot spots when you cook. Your food will come out more consistently well made as a direct result.
The nonstick coating that is used on this cookware is not the usual type. With most nonstick coatings on the market, you can only use wooden utensils. This is because metal utensils will scratch and tear up the coating. Food Network uses the DuPont professional nonstick coating, so it is completely safe to use metal utensils and you don’t have to worry about scratching your new pieces the first time you use them. The nonstick coating also helps make cleaning a cinch because you aren’t forced to scrub off many tough foods that stick to the pans, although it is recommended that you hand-wash each of the pieces in this set.

The lids that come with the pans in this set are made from tempered glass, and the tempered construction allows them to fit tightly. This enables you to watch your foods while they cook without losing precious steam and heat. Anyone who has watched Alton Brown knows how important this can be, especially if you are making rice. The more you lift the lids on your pots, the more the heat escapes. This will mess with the cooking times and the evenness of the food.
Another great feature about the design of this cookware set is the handles – they’re made from hollowed out stainless steel. This design ups the comfort factor exponentially, but also takes some of the weight out of the pots of pans. You can also put them in the oven up to 500 degrees.

Feedback about the Food Network 11-Pc Hard-Anodized Nonstick Cookware Set

The Food Network 11-PC Hard-Anodized Nonstick Cookware Set Review has some great feedback on Amazon.com. Some things customers have noted in their reviews are that they love the nonstick coating, as well as how well it cleans up. Some have also raved about the strainer lid and steamer insert. A few people were a bit more apprehensive about a celebrity-branded cookware set than I was, but they were happy that they decided to give it a try. Most were very content with the outcome.

The high rating shows that others agree that this set is a high-quality set, but it is not perfect. There have been a few minor complaints. A couple of people have complained about the nonstick coating starting to flake, but at the same time owned up to not going out of their way to take care of it in the first place. Another complaint was that the strainer lid only fit the smaller saucepan.

Rest assured there are always people willing to give their opinions about the products that they buy. You will get some very honest, very blunt reviews from some of the customers on Amazon – which is my favorite part about shopping on the site (aside from the massive savings).
